Taiwan-based synth-pop band Sunset Rollercoaster gained global recognition with their breezy and chilled out music. Slow & Oriental is their first official music video, born from a shared nostalgia for the rapid urban modernisation of 1990s Asia.

The visual narrative explores the airy weight of youth and the fluidity of time through everyday objects such as water and plastic bags, turning them into metaphors of memory, change, and loss. The story unfolds across Taiwanese summer landscapes where a boy navigates a world in transition, longing for stillness amid motion.

Slow & Oriental received Best Music Video at the 30th Golden Melody Awards (金曲獎) and was featured in Nowness, Hypebeast, and Arena Homme Korea, etc.
